Avalanche News, Game 8

Following the Lakehead Thunderwolves vs Toronto game and the Annual Teddy Bear toss Friday night, on Saturday, November 28th the Blue Door Bistro Avalanche played a game as well of their own vs the Victoria Chiropractor Senators.  The Avalanche got on the scoreboard first in the first on a goal scored by Pacey Whitehead after receiving a pass up the boards from Cole Lambert.

The second period went scoreless before the senators tied the game early in the third 1-1.  Halfway through the third period, the Avalanche took the lead again, this time on a breakaway by Kaden Hryciw after receiving a pass from Cole Brewer off of a faceoff in their own end.  The lead was short lived as the senators once again tied the game 2-2 which was the end result in a back and forth game with a number of big saves by both goaltenders throughout.

The Blue Door Bistro Avalanche's Hardest Working Player was Evan Caland who worked extremely hard with a few offense rushes as well a number of defensive checks throughout the game.

The Avalanche practice on Sunday, November 29th from 9:00-10:00am at Delany Arena.  Before hitting the ice next weekend for a pair of games onSaturday, December 5th at 4pm at the FWG against the Golden Wok Flames and Sunday, December 6th at 12pm at the FWG against the Can-OP Kings.
